Broadway turned off the lights in honor of Robin Williams
Broadway theaters held a coordinated event in memory of Robin Williams. According to The Hollywood Reporter, on August 13, 2014, within 10 minutes, starting at 7:45 pm, the lights of most of the most famous stages in the United States were extinguished. Note that during his long acting career, Williams has repeatedly ascended Broadway scaffold.
