Star of Downton Abbey will be looking for the Holy Grail
The CW has acquired the four-hour historical miniseries The Labyrinth, starring the star of Downton Abbey Jessica Brown Findlay. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter with reference to The CW. The events in The Labyrinth, based on the novel of the same name by the writer Kate Moss, take place in both medieval and modern France. In the center of the plot of the mini-series – two women, separated by centuries, but pursuing a common goal – The Quest for the Holy Grail. The script was adapted by Adrian Hodges (Survivors), and Christopher Smith (The Black Death) was appointed director. In addition to Findlay, the main cast includes John Hurt, Sebastian Stan and Tom Felton. Janet Suzman, Claudia Jerini, Katie McGrath, Iman Elliott and Tony Curran also star in the miniseries. The TV project was movieed in Carcassonne in southwestern France and in Cape Town. The exact date of the premiere will be announced later.
