Joss Whedon welcomed Comic-con guests from the hospital
Avengers 2: Age of Ultron Director Joss Whedon was unable to attend Comic-con 2014 as he required urgent surgery. The director posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed on his Twitter page, accompanied by a commentary as follows : " San Diego !!!! Are you ready for the party ? Then make sure you don't have knee surgery. ” Whedon did not elaborate on whether his hospitalization was related to some kind of injury, or whether he needed the help of doctors due to illness. Recall that the Marvel presentation at Comic-con was attended by all the performers of the main roles in the sequel to Avengers.
