Fox is developing a comedy series based on the feature movie “The Hitching Rules: The Hitch Method,” starring Will Smith and Eva Mendes. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Sony Pictures Television and Overbrook Entertainment will be producing the series about the professional matchmaker. The latter belongs to Smith. The script for the series is being written by Derborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont ("Friend of the Bride"). Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, James Lassiter and Calib Pinkett have been appointed executive producers of the series, which is described as a comedy about finding a partner and struggling to dominate the opposite sex.
