Bradley Cooper was invited to the musical A Star is Born (Topic)

Bradley Cooper may star in a remake of the acclaimed musical A Star is Born, which is about to be directed by Clint Eastwood. According to The Hollywood Reporter, negotiations with the actor are already underway.

This project will be the fourth full-length version of the classic musical. The original movie was released in 1937, but the movies released in 1954 and 1976 are best known. The latter even claimed four Academy Awards.

The main female role in Eastwood's movie is likely to be played by the singer Beyonce Knowles.
