The University of California at Irvine has announced a set of online courses that study the basics of survival in a post-apocalyptic world. It is reported by the Variety edition. The university is a partner of the AMC TV channel, which showcases the zombie series The Walking Dead. since 2010, and Instructure, an online education company. Students will attend a course of lectures in the following disciplines: sociology, health care, mathematics and physics, accepting the coming zombie apocalypse as a fait accompli. Situations from the series will be taken as examples. The eight-week course is free and available to anyone around the world. High-class specialists are involved in the work. Classes will start on October 14, 2013, the day after the premiere of the first episode of the fourth season of the show & The Walking Dead will run on Mondays until December 2nd.
