Taraji P. Henson to star in Empire pilot
Taraji P. Henson (In Line of Sight) and Jussie Smollett (Project Mindy) join the pilot for the drama Empire Fox TV channel. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. In the family drama about the world of hip-hop, Henson will play Cook Lyon, ex-wife of Lucius Lyon (Terrence Howard), the head of the record company.
