Gina Carano to star in the female version of The Expendables
Mixed Fighting Champion and Knockout Star Gina Carano will play one of the main roles in the `` female '' version of The Expendables, curated by producer Adi Shankar. This is reported by the Variety edition. The project does not yet have an approved script, director and source of funding, but Shankar is determined to assemble an impressive cast, not inferior to the `` male '' analogue. So far, it is only known that the plot will focus on employees of a private security company working under a contract with the US Department of Defense. Note that the former champion's Hollywood career is developing quite successfully. At the time of this writing, Carano starred in the sixth part of Fast and the Furious.
