Google presented an interactive map of Middle-earth
Warner Bros. Film Studio and Google have unveiled a collaborative project, an interactive map of Middle-earth that shows the major cities and properties that will appear in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy. This was announced in the official press release. To display the map correctly and use all the project's features, users are encouraged to install the Google Chrome browser. Some locations, like Thranduil's residence, are not open yet, as they have yet to appear in The Hobbit 2: The Desolation of Smaug.
