CBS bought the rights to Supergirl
CBS has bought the rights to a future Supergirl TV project, Supergirl, which is curated by producers Greg Berlanti and Eli Adler. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The hour-long drama focuses on Superman's cousin Kara Zor-El, who was born on the planet Krypton and managed to leave it before its destruction. Since arriving on Earth, Kara has hidden her superpowers, which she possesses along with her famous cousin. But now, at the age of 24, she decides to use her superhuman powers and become the hero she was destined to be. Berlanti and Adler will write and executive produce the drama.
