Sin City will form the basis of the series
The Weinstein Company announced that after Sin City 2 plans to start production of the television series Sin City under the direction of Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. This is reported by The New York Times. In a recent interview with the publication, studio head Bob Weinstein also said that he was working on a pilot episode of the series Scream based on the franchise of the same name for MTV and, together with Frank Darabont, is developing a ten-episode series based on Stephen King's novel Haze. A series based on Sin City is released; will coincide with the premiere of the sequel, which is scheduled for August 2014.
