The cost of the first Superman comic has exceeded a million per day

In just a day since the start of trading on the eBay electronic auction, the cost of one of the few surviving copies of the first Superman comic book has exceeded one million dollars.

A feature of this particular copy put up for auction by Pristine Comics is almost perfect condition. The current owners explain this by the fact that the comic, released in 1938, was stored in the most suitable conditions - in a dry climate without access to sunlight.

All proceeds will be donated to the Christopher and Dana Reeve charitable foundation. Recall that in 2011, another copy of the same comic, but in the worst condition, was sold for a record amount of $ 2.1 million.

Most likely, this achievement will be improved by the end of this auction.
