Guillermo Del Toro has begun work on the sequel to the Pacific Rim
Long before the release of the movie `` Pacific Rim '', and therefore, long before the box office became known for the project, director Guillermo Del Toro and screenwriter Travis Beecham began work on the sequel. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. It is assumed that the sequel will start movieing in early 2014. It is not yet known whether Del Toro will remain in the director's chair or will retain only production functions. Recall that according to the plot of the first movie, mankind will have to face nightmarish monsters that have risen from the depths of the ocean. To fight them, giant robots have been created, which are controlled by several heroes. The first part will premiere in July 2013.
