Fargo's movie will form the basis of a new TV project
FX Channel has announced the launch of the TV series Fargo, which will be based on the adaptation of the 1996 feature movie of the same name. This is reported by the ComingSoon portal. A 10-episode script centered on `` a crime story based on true events '', written by Noah Hawley. The premiere episode is directed by Adam Bernstein. Noah Hawley, Warren Littlefield and Joel and Ethan Coen are executive producers. The latter won the Oscar Best Screenplay for Fargo. Production on the series will begin this November in Calgary, Canada with an eye on the premiere of the first episode in the spring of 2014.
