Game of Thrones Season 5 Directors Announced
HBO has announced the names of five directors who will direct ten episodes of the fifth season of Game of Thrones, which is slated to premiere in 2015. This is reported by Entertainment Weekly. The first and second episodes will be directed by Michael Slovis (Breaking Bad); third and fourth – Mark Mylod (Shameless); fifth and sixth – Jeremy Podeswa (Boardwalk Empire); seventh and eighth – Miguel Sapochnik (`` Edge ''); The ninth and tenth episodes went to David Nutter, the only one on the list who has already worked on Game of Thrones. It was Nutter who directed the famous episode of The Rains of Castamere, also known as The Red Wedding.
