New addition to the Texas Ranger miniseries
Jeremy Davis (Justice) and Robert Knepper (Escape) join the cast of the miniseries tentatively titled Texas Rising History channel. This is reported by the Deadline edition. The events in the miniseries take place during the Texas Revolution and tell about the rise of the legendary Texas Rangers. Davis will play Sergeant Ephraim Knowles, a dodgy rogue who only cares own well-being. He is forced to join the Rangers to avoid a desertion tribunal. Knepper's character, an unshaven, pompous bore Buckley, is the only representative of the law in Victoria. He abuses his position and seeks his own benefit everywhere. Leslie Greif (Hatfields & McCoys) is executive producing. The miniseries already features Jeffrey Blake, Dillon Lane, Jake Busey, Reese Coyro and Joe Egender.
