2017 KinoNews Awards Winners Announced
The Film Academy of the Novosti Kino portal has determined the winners of the main USA independent movie award KinoNews 2017. The best movie of 2016 was recognized as the movie adaptation of the Marvel comics "Doctor Strange", which scored the highest number of points. The war drama "Panfilov's 28" became the best USA movie, which significantly outstripped its main competitors. Best Actor and Actress of the Year was Andrew Garfield ("For reasons of conscience") and Amy Adams ("Arrival"). Among USA actors, Konstantin Khabensky ("The Collector"), Victoria Isakova ("Pupil") were named the best. The Best Director Award went to Mel Gibson, who directed Out of Conscience. Among the USA directors, the best were Kim Druzhinin and Andrey Shalyopa, who presented the movie "Panfilov's 28". The sexiest actor was Chris Evans, and among the actresses - Blake Lively. Zootopia won the Best Animated Film nomination. The most anticipated project of the year is Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi. The project "Stranger Things" became the winner of the "KinoNews 2017" award among TV series, and "Night" among mini-series. The best game of the year by the Film Academy "Film News" recognized the shooter "Battlefield 1".
