The Chinese travel company Wulong Karst Tourism has filed a lawsuit against the creators of the movie "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction", accusing the latter of not fulfilling the terms of the agreement on the placement of the production placement. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The documents that were provided to the court say that the plaintiff invested $ 750,000 in the creation of the painting, counting on the demonstration of the company's logo in one of the episodes. However, this scene did not make it to the final version of "Transformers 4".

Paramount and its Chinese partner China Movie Channel are named as respondents. According to local press reports, the Hollywood major has tried to compensate for the lack of his investor's logo. To this end, Michael Bay shot a commercial for one of its kururts for Wulong Karst Tourism, and the moviemakers also gave the travel company some of the props and decorations that could be used to attract customers. Probably, the plaintiffs considered this to be an inappropriate substitute for displaying the logo and demanded compensation in the amount of $ 27 million.

Recall that the movie "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" was very popular in China. It grossed over $ 300 million at the national box office.
