Chinese corporation Huahua Media will participate in financing the movie "Transformers 5: The Last Knight". According to The Wrap, an agreement has been signed with Paramount Pictures. The degree of participation of Chinese partners has not been specified.

Note that Huahua Media has previously been involved in the promotion of Hollywood movie projects in the Chinese market, including "Trasformers". In 2014, she was a marketing partner for Paramount during the screening of Transformers 4: Age of Extinction. Recall that the latter earned more than $ 300 million in the Chinese box office, that is, much more than at home.

We also note that some of Paramount's Chinese partners ended up dissatisfied with the volume of product placement and even went to court. In November 2016, the studio was fined $ 300,000 for breach of contract.

The release of the fifth part of "Transformers" is scheduled for June 23, 2017. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins, Stanley Tucci, John Goodman, Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner, Ken Watanabe, Santiago Cabrera, Jean Dujardin and other actors. It is likely that the project will provide some hints about upcoming spin-offs.
