Game of Thrones star to star in Doctor Who
Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams has a role in the sci-fi series Doctor Who. According to Variety, citing the BBC, Williams will be a guest star. "I'm thrilled to be movieing Doctor Who, a series that is a big and important part of British culture. I can't wait to meet you. with the actors and the whole crew, as well as the beginning of movieing, which, among other things, will take place near my hometown, "- said Williams on her first day on the set. Stephen Moffat, lead writer and the show's executive producer added: “There is no way to detail who or what Macy is playing, but she will challenge the Doctor in very unexpected ways. Edward Bazalgett is currently movieing two episodes - "The Girl Who Died" by Jamie Mathison and Moffat and "The Woman Who Lived" by Catherine Tregenna. The main roles – Doctor and Clara Oswald – played by Peter Capaldi and Jenna-Louise Coleman, respectively. William has joined the guest stars, including Rufus Hound, Tom Storton, Erion Bacare, Simon Lipkin, Ian Conningham, Murray MacArthur, Barneby Kay, John Vos and Struan Roger. Williams recently starred in Carol Morley's The Fall.
