Pablo Picasso to shoot the second season of the Genius anthology (Topic)

Pablo Picasso will be the main character of the second season of the National Geographic anthology "Genius". This was announced by the executive producer of the television project Ron Howard, who called Picasso "extremely charming and inspiring." His words are quoted by Deadline.

In his statement, Howard stated that Picasso piqued people's curiosity and that although his name is common knowledge, most do not really know what bothered him that drove him and how "overcoming the turbulence" he became a great artist.

Howard and showrunner and Genius executive producer Kenneth Biller noted that they had chosen Picasso after months of reflection. “We discussed a lot of names for the second season, and Pablo Picasso was probably the first one. There were various genius women among the candidates, but in the end the team, having made a circle, nevertheless returned to Picasso. We felt that his story was really rich, emotional, passionate and controversial, "Biller said in particular.

Season 2 is expected to begin movieing in late summer this year and premiere in 2018. As in the first season, in which the life story of Albert Einstein was told, in the second the young and old "versions" of the great Spanish artist, sculptor and designer will be played by two actors.
