National Geographic tells about the life of geniuses

Image The level of competition on modern TV is so high that almost all cable and satellite television networks in America are starting to produce their own series. The channel National Geographic , which was previously famous for its documentaries and reality shows, intends to become a serious player in the market of producers of serial dramas. At the end of last year, a mini-series about the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant went into production, and now the channel of the National Geographic Society has decided to create a project about the greatest minds in world history.

According to Deadline , National Geographic will be supporting Genius for the production of Genius Fox 21 TV Studios and Imagine Television . The project will be implemented in the format of an anthology, thanks to which each season will tell about a new historical figure. In the center of the plot of the 10-episode first chapter will be Albert Einstein . The script of the drama will be based on the book by Walter Isaacson “ Einstein. His life and universe ", which describes in detail the life of an outstanding scientist.

Young Einstein will be played by Johnny Flynn ("Sils Maria"), and the image of the famous theoretical physicist in adulthood will be embodied by the laureate of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Geoffrey Rush ("Shine", "The King Speaks!").
