A significant part of Ukrainian movie theatergoers refuses to show the USA movie "The Dawns Here Are Quiet ...". This is reported by the Ukrainian newspaper "Vesti" with reference to distributors.

The reason is the low commercial potential of the painting. "Some cinemas refused to show the movie, it is not a question of ideology, there is nothing there that could become a reason for a ban, no, this is just commerce," the publication quotes a commentary by Roman Martynenko, head of Multi Media Distribution, which received a distribution certificate from State Film Agency of Ukraine.

Recall that the movie is based on the story of the same name by Boris Vasiliev. The main roles were played by Pyotr Fedorov, Anastasia Mikulchina, Agniya Kuznetsova, Kristina Asmus, Ekaterina Vilkova, Anatoly Bely, Daria Moroz, Victor Proskurin, Maxim Drozd, Alexey Barabash, and other actors. Stage director Renat Davletyarov.

The creators of the picture have repeatedly stressed that their project is not a remake of the famous movie by Stanislav Rostotsky, released in 1972, and rightfully considered one of the best domestic movies dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.
