Adrian Brody will star in a thriller titled Expiration Date. The Hollywood Reporter reports this with reference to its sources.

The plot will revolve around a former CIA operative who wakes up in the hospital where he was after an unsuccessful attempt on his life, and finds out that he has been poisoned. He has only a day left at his disposal and must spend all the time allotted to him to recall the events of the last 24 hours.

The script was assigned to Brian Tucker, who previously wrote the drama City of Vice. Filming is expected to start in March 2016 in one of the European countries. The project is presented to potential buyers at the movie market at the Toronto International Film Festival. The rental schedule of the thriller has not yet been specified.

In 2016, he will appear in the movie "The Emperor", which will take place during the Roman Empire. This movie project will be directed by Lee Tamahori.
