USA Producers Guild Announces Winners (TV Series)
The US Producers Guild has named winners for its 2014 Television Achievement Award. The Norman Felton Award for Best Production Team in a Drama Series went to the producers of AMC's Breaking Bad. Melissa Bernstein, Sam Kathleen, Brian Cranston, Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, Mark Johnson, Stuart Lyons, Michelle McLaren, George Mastras, Diane Mercer, Thomas Schnauz and Moira Wally-Beckett. Among the professionals, FX miniseries producers Adam Bernstein, John Cameron, Ethan Cohen, Joel Coen, Michael Frislev, Noah Hawley, Warren Littlefield, Chad Oakes and Kim Todd were recognized as the best producers of television movies and miniseries. The team received the David L. Volper Award. The Danny Thomas Award for Best Production Team in a Comedy Series went to the Netflix streaming team's Orange Is the New Black. The award went to the producers: Mark A. Burleigh, Sarah Hess, Jenji Cohen, Gary Lennon, Neri Kyle Tannenbaum, Michael Trim and Lisa Winnecourt. The Producers Guild Awards were announced at a ceremony held on January 24, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
