Fox has changed the title of its upcoming drama series Code of Frankenstein to Lookinglass. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The plot of the drama by executive producer Howard Gordon (Homeland) and Rand Ravich (Crisis) revolves around Ray Pritchard (Philip Baker Hall), a 75-year-old corrupt cop in retirement, which fate gives a second chance when he is raised from the dead by two young scientists in the body of a 35-year-old man. Ray (Robert Kazinski) comes back to life, endowed with unexpected and almost inhuman abilities. The series is produced by Teakwood Lane Productions and 20th Century Fox Television.

This is the second time the series has been renamed. When the project first came up, it was simply called – "Frankenstein". The name "Frankenstein Code" originated as a working in the development of the project. Sources say the producers are confident that "Lookinglass" ("The Mirror") better captures the essence of the characters and their evolution.

Fox is not alone in renaming their projects this season. So, NBC has renamed new comedy DJ Nash "People Are Talking" in "Truth Be Told". Fall TV dramas "The Player" and "Heartbreaker", bypassing the pilot stage, turned into "Endgame" and "Heart Matters" respectively.

ABC's fall drama "Blood and Oil" was originally called "The Bakken" when the channel acquired the script rights in 2011.

Shondaland's drama series "The Catch" was previously billed as "Smoke and Mirrors" and "Wicked Crime" was formerly called "LA Crime". Jenna Bance's political drama "The Family" has changed its title twice ("Flesh and Blood" and "Original Sin").

"Lookinglass" will premiere on Fox this offseason.
