Brad Pitt Studios Plan B Entertainment and Warner Bros. jointly movieed a fantasy novel entitled "Illuminae", the first of a trilogy by Australian writers Amy Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. This is reported by the Variety edition. The story takes place in the year 2575, and in the center of the plot is a hacker girl and her former lover, who find themselves in the epicenter of a battle between two corporations for a planet located on the outskirts of the explored universe. When an epidemic of a deadly disease breaks out on it, the heroes go on the run, pursued by a warship. A distinctive feature of the work is the form of the narration: events are described using "hacker" files - e-mails, medical documents, maps, and so on. Brad Pitt will serve as the producer of the project. Whether he will be involved as a performer of one of the roles is not specified yet.
