Ron Perlman turned to fans of the movie "Hellboy: Hero from Hell" with a request to help in launching the third part of the project into production. The corresponding appeal was published on the actor's official page on the social network Facebook.

"Does anyone want to see Hellboy 3 the same way I do? Let's give this bastard a chance! Finish the trilogy! We deserve it," the actor wrote, without suggesting, however, a way to implement viewership. Pearlman's proposal was supported by Doug Jones, who played the role of Abe in Hellboy. "I am shoulder to shoulder with you, Big Red Brother," he wrote in the comments.

Recall that the second part, titled "Hellboy II: The Golden Army", was released in 2008. The movie flopped both domestically and internationally, earning only $ 160 million on a $ 85 million production budget.

In 2012, the creator of both movies, Guillermo Del Toro, claimed that he was ready to start work on the third movie, but a year later he admitted that it would be almost impossible to find funding for movieing. Universal Pictures, which owns the rights to the characters, has shown no interest in creating a sequel at the time of this writing.
