A woman will appear on the cover of a FIFA game for the first time
For the first time in the history of a series, a female soccer player will be featured on the cover of FIFA 16, but it will only be in Australia. According to Gamespot, Steph Catley defeated two Australian teammates in a fan vote and received the honor. Steph Catley will take a seat next to the famous Barcelona player Lionel Messi. As a reminder, he has appeared on the cover of the FIFA series for the fifth time in a row. In the United States of America, some fans have requested that the US Women's Team member also be on the cover, but only for the American version of the game, but fans seem to have been denied that. In the United Kingdom, Liverpool player Jordan Henderson was voted on to sit next to Messi on the cover for the British. He beat Sergio Aguero from Manchester City, Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea and Harry Kane from Tottenham.
