Jackie Chan will star in a movie called "The Foreigner", which is set to be directed by STX Entertainment. This is reported by the Variety edition.
The script for the movie will be based on Stephen Leser's "The Chinaman", which was published in 1992. In the story, the owner of a restaurant located in London's Chinatown goes in search of terrorists from the Irish Republican Army responsible for the death of his daughter.
Nick Cassavetes is expected to direct the movie, with such projects as Alpha Dog, My Guardian Angel and others. The shooting and possible rental schedules have not yet been specified.
