Films about superheroes are sexist and exploit the female body. This opinion was expressed by British actress Cara Delevingne, in an interview with Empire magazine, excerpts from which are quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.

"Female superheroes are usually half-naked or in bikinis. But no one can fight like this. Say, Wonder Woman. How can she even fight? She will be dead in exactly a minute," the actress said. Recall that Delevingne got the role of the Witch in the movie adaptation of the comic book series about "Suicide Squad", so she will have to fully assess the effectiveness of the superhero's attire. "There are three female characters in this movie and I think they have the best roles," she added.

It is also worth noting that, in addition to "Suicide Squad", Kara Delevingne will play one of the main roles in another movie adaptation of the comic. This is a graphic novel called "Valerian". It takes place in the future, when time travel became possible, and the main characters are a special agent and his red-haired girlfriend Loryline. Filming is expected to begin in the fall of 2015 with an eye on the premiere in 2017. The director will be French director Luc Besson.
