Allison Tolman to star in the drama Mad Dogs
FX Fargo's Season 1 star Allison Tolman has a guest role in upcoming Amazon streaming drama Mad Dogs, curated by Sean Ryan (Desperate Measures). According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cobe Bell ("The Game") has also joined the recurring series. The Sony Pictures Television drama follows four former friends who travel to Belize for a long-awaited meeting, but their a luxury vacation is interrupted by a series of horrific events, as a result of which deception, secrets and murder are revealed. Tolman will play Rochelle in one of the episodes. Her character is a junior employee at the American Embassy in Belize and feels that she can handle any problem. She knows her weaknesses and strengths and can be vulnerable. In addition to being featured in Mad Dogs, Tolman recently appeared on the Fox comedy The Mindy Project, the HBO television movie Let's Get Started: The Movie, and the FX animated series Archer. As for Bell, he will play Aaron, a positive and organized CIA agent who will stop at nothing to complete a mission. Bell is best known for his "Third Shift" and "Black Mark" series. The drama, based on the British TV series Reservoir Dogs, was originally developed on FX, but later moved to Amazon. Originator Chris Cole wrote the script and will executive produce with Sean Ryan. At the time of this writing, movieing is taking place in Puerto Rico, and the premiere is scheduled for 2016. It stars Ben Chaplin, Michael Imperioli, Billy Zane, Steve Zan and Romani Malko.
