WGN America is ready to have a glass of whiskey with Aaron Paul. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cable network is developing a drama "Blood and Whiskey" based on the life of the famous whiskey brand founder Jack Daniel. Based on the biography of Peter Crassus "Blood and Whiskey: The Life and Times of Jack Daniel ", the drama tells the heartbreaking true story of Jack Daniel, distiller boy, teenage smuggler and criminal who built the world's greatest whiskey empire from the ashes of the Civil War. Andrew Colville (Mad Men) will write and executive produce with Stan Spry, Jeff Holland, Drew Brown, Aaron Paul and Zach Beckman. Colville completes his executive producing duties in the final fourth season of the historical spy drama Agent on AMC, where he collaborates with Craig Silverstein on Bone Wars.
