Forest Whitaker to star in Star Wars
An impressive addition has come to the cast of Star Wars: The Outcast, which will be the first spin-off of the new trilogy. As reported by Variety, Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker will play one of the key roles. What kind of character we are talking about has not yet been specified. Previously, the director of the movie, Gareth Edwards, argued that in his project there would be no obvious positive and negative images, and in terms of genre it would be close to military action movies. Set in the aftermath of Star Wars: Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith, the plot will focus on a rebel group's efforts to steal the secret blueprints of the first Death Star. Filming, in which Sam Claflin, Felicity Jones, Ben Mendelssohn, Diego Luna and other actors have also agreed to take part, should begin in summer 2015. The composer Alexander Desplat will be responsible for the spin-off soundtrack. The premiere will take place in December 2016. One of the last works of Whitaker at the time of this writing was the role in the action movie "Hostage 3". In 2015, viewers will be able to see the actor in the drama "Lefty".
