The creator of the fantastic movie "Wonder Woman", which is based on a series of comics of the same name by DC, could be the famous Hollywood screenwriter and director Joss Whedon. This is reported by the ComicBook edition, citing excerpts from the script proposed by Whedon Studio Warner Bros. in 2006.

It has a number of significant differences from the version that was eventually taken by the studio as a basis. In particular, the relationship between Diana and the other Amazons, as well as their leader, Hippolyta, was more controversial. Other than that, Diana was not nearly as bulletproof as Superman, and her first encounter with a firearm incapacitated her for several hours. According to Joss Whedon, the main antagonist was not the god of war Ares, but the god of chaos. Remarkably that in the comics this character is female, but Whedon planned to make him male. In addition, in its version closer to the middle of the movie, Diana had to give up her superpowers in order to be with Trevor.

For some reason, the studio was not satisfied with this scenario, is not specified. As a result, the project was headed by director Patty Jenkins. The movie "Wonder Woman" will be presented to viewers on June 1, 2017.
