2016 Golden Globe Awards Winners Named in USA
The 2016 Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held in the USA, which was established by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The best dramatic movie was named "The Survivor", directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. The latter also won the Best Director category. Best Film - Musical or Comedy was won by the science fiction movie The Marisian. Best Drama Actors were named Leonardo DiCaprio ("The Survivor") and Brie Larson ("The Room"). Matt Damon ("The Martian") and Jennifer Lawrence ("Joy") have been named Comedic Actors. Sylvester Stallone (Creed: Rocky's Legacy) and Keith Winslet (Steve Jobs) received the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Award for Supporting Actors in a Drama. Aaron Sorkin (Steve Jobs) received the Best Screenplay award and the 2016 Golden Globe Awards for Puzzle. The Hungarian drama "Son of Saul" was recognized as the best foreign movie.
