Freeform Channel Films Marvel Comic Cloak and Dagger (Topic)

Freeform commissioned the production of the Marvel comic series "Cloak and Dagger", targeting young audiences, and the pilot of the "Issues" scenario show, based on the life and career of Cosmopolitan Editor-in-Chief Joanna Coles ... This is reported by the publication Deadline.

In the "Cloak and Dagger" in the center of the plot are two teenagers experiencing a romantic relationship – Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen - who accidentally acquired superpowers. Tandy wields daggers of light, and Tyrone has the ability to teleport, has a connection with the Dark Dimension and can absorb people into darkness. Teenagers quickly realize that together they are better than apart, however, their feelings for each other complicate an already difficult situation.

Cloak and Dagger has been developed by Freeform (formerly ABC Family) for the past five years. The search for a screenwriter is currently underway. Marvel Studios and ABC Signature Studios will co-produce. The series will join three Marvel TV projects for ABC: SHIELD, Agent Carter, and the pilot for Most Wanted.
