Gregory will appear in The Walking Dead (Topic)

Another villain will appear in the second half of the sixth season of The Walking Dead. It became known which character will be played by Xander Berkeley ("24 Hours"), who got the role, which was carefully hidden, in September 2015. Beware, this post may contain spoilers.

When last fall Berkeley, whose recent work includes the series "Nikita", "Longmire", "Salem", "Zoo", joined the cast of the zombie drama, TV Line sources claimed that the actor got the role of the villain, but not Negan, who, as it later became known, will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

So, Berkeley will embody on the screen a weasel and scoundrel named Gregory, who in the printed comic by Robert Kirkman is the leader of the Hilltop Colony. A coward in my soul Gregory possesses inordinate vanity, selfishness and an instinct for self-preservation. He flatters his ego and enjoys control with the charm of a used car dealer.

In the original source, Gregory plays a sad role in the lives of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Glenn (Steven Yun) – he gives them to Negan. It is not surprising that sooner or later he will face the righteous Paul "Jesus" Monroe (Tom Payne) on a narrow path.
