Avengers 3 will be movieed with new digital IMAX cameras
Avengers 3 will be the first Hollywood movie project to be movieed entirely with new IMAX digital cameras. This was reported on the official website of the Canadian company. The movieing systems are a joint development of IMAX and ARRI, based on the Alexa 65 line of large format cameras. "We are honored to continue our partnership with Anthony and Joe Russo, whom we consider to be the pioneers of a new generation of moviemakers. Marvel's Avengers have already become a global phenomenon, and the use of IMAX / ARRI cameras fully corresponds to the scale of the project, "said IMAX Vice President Greg Foster. Recall that IMAX cameras have been used many times during the movieing of Marvel movies, but previously it was only about individual episodes. So in the movie "The First Avenger 3: Civil War" the timing of scenes shot in IMAX format will not exceed 15 minutes.
