Netflix Renewed Orange Is The New Black For Season Four (Topic)

The Litchfield Women will be back in 2016. Streaming executives Netflix announced the renewal of Orange is the New Black for a fourth season on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Jenji Cohen's dramatic comedy is the last show in a line of original series renewed by Netflix for the next seasons. Earlier this month, the video library ordered the production of the second season of its new family drama "Bloodline", and later extended the political thriller "House of Cards" for a fourth season.

The third season of the show "Orange is the New Black" will see a return Alex Vouse (Laura Prepon) and the arrival of a new inmate named Stella Carlin at Lichfield Prison, performed by an Australian singer, TV presenter, actress and model Ruby Rose.

Orange is the hit of the season in two seasons, winning a total of twenty awards in various television awards, including three of the ten Emmy nominations for which it was nominated; two Screen Actors Guild Awards; two People's Choice awards; the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Award for achievements in the fields of movie, television, theater, music and literature; Peabody and Producers Guild Awards. The series has also been nominated for Directors Guild, Writers Guild and Golden Globe Awards.

The series is slated to premiere on June 12, 2015 on Netflix for its third season.
