"Let the Right One In" is a dark drama centered on the humble and lonely 16-year-old Henry (Wadsworth), who lives with his mother and is daily bullied by three older guys. Henry is intrigued by his new neighbor, a girlfriend named Eli (Christine Froset), and guesses that she is a vampire. Confused by Eli's unique abilities, Henry acquires a powerful and deadly ally in her person, whose real age he has no idea.

Kretschmann will play Inspector Ericsson, a foreign police officer who has been stalking Eli and her lawyer for nearly ten years and suspects they are involved in more than 100 deaths. Ericsson is familiar with their methods, but doesn't know their names or what they look like.
