Guillermo Del Toro is ready to kill for the Pet Sematary
Another dream project for Mexican director Guillermo Del Toro is the adaptation of Stephen King's "Pet Sematary". He announced this himself on his official Twitter page. "The book of today. Stephen King's Pet Sematary. Incredibly dark and emotional. An addictive reading. Willing to kill for the opportunity to transfer this to tape," wrote Del Toro. Note that King's work was movieed in 1989, six years after publication. The Paramount movie studio has repeatedly announced its readiness to shoot a new version, but despite the existence of draft versions of the script, the project was never given the green light.
