Christoph Waltz denied the previously widespread information that in the movie "007: Specter" he had a chance to play one of the main enemies of James Bond Ernst Stavro Blofeld. The German actor spoke about this in an interview with the British version of GQ.

"This is absolutely not true. Rumors began on the Internet, and the Internet in this case acts as a pest .. The name of my character is Franz Oberhauser," said the actor. According to Waltz, he initially doubted the need to play the villain in episode 24 of "Bond", but he was "convinced by the high professionalism of the people who are involved in the franchise" and the material presented to him.

"The scenes in Mexico are very extravagant, to say the least. The episodes in the Austrian snows are movieed in the classic Bond style. These movies with Daniel Craig were able to change the whole tone of the project," he added.

Recall that Ernst Stavro Blofeld is the leader of the terrorist organization SPECTR. He has been featured in three Ian Fleming novels and six James Bond movies.

007: Specter stars Dave Batista, Rafe Fiennes, Monica Bellucci, Daniel Craig, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Andrew Scott, Naomi Harris, Rory Kinnear and other actors. The picture will be released in November 2015.
