Candidates for the main roles in the spin-off Harry Potter have been announced
Warner Bros. Film Studio and director David Yates have shortlisted for the lead roles in the first Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. This is reported by The Wrap. It lists, in particular, such actresses as Saoirse Ronan, Dakota Fanning, Lily Simmons and Alison Sudol, whom the moviemakers intend to try for the role of Tina, as well as Kate Upton, Katherine Waterston, Elizabeth Debicki, who will be offered the role Tina's older sister Queenie. At the time of this writing, it was not known what these characters are, and what their meaning for the project is. Also, actors Steve Zissis, Zach Perlman and Dan Fogler will audition for the role of Jacob, who will become a rival of the main character. Earlier it was reported that Eddie Redmayne received an offer to play the main role, but this information has not been officially confirmed. Recall that the picture will be dedicated to the adventures of Newt Scamander, the author of the book of the same name, which Harry Potter and his classmates studied at Hogwarts.
