Work on a remake of the popular science fiction movie "Jumanji" has started. The performer of the main role Dwayne Johnson left a corresponding comment on his official Instagram page. He also promised to immortalize the memory of Robin Williams in the movie.
"My love and respect for this person simply has no boundaries. I give you my word, we will honor his memory, and the hero named Alan Parrish will remain forever in the Jumanji universe. I have one idea how to do this, and I I really hope that his family will be proud of it. I also think that from somewhere above Robin is looking at us and laughing, remembering how we met him the first time, and I found myself (for the first time in my life) something- then a mumbled idiot who really could not squeeze a word out of himself. Just an idiot. And he reassured me with his famous smile and laughter, "- wrote Johnson.
According to the actor, there were three main characters in the original movie adaptation, and in the new version there will be "as many as five". "We've got some important casting announcements coming up soon. I'll keep you posted," he added.
Let us remind you that the movie "Jumanji" is to be released on July 27, 2017. The movie also stars Johnson's partner in the comedy "Spy One and a Half" Kevin Hart.
