The Viking Star has a role in The Mist
Viking star Alyssa Sutherland has been cast in the Spike TV adaptation of Stephen King's novel The Haze. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The series takes place in a small town that suddenly finds itself in the grip of fog, with the arrival of which chaos begins. Sutherland will play Eva Cunningham, a wife and mother who tries to protect her teenage daughter from the possible dangers lurking inside and outside the fog. Along the way, Eve is also going through the events that happened to her in the past. At the moment, it is not yet clear how Sutherland's participation in "The Blaze" will affect the future of her Viking heroine Princess Aslaug. The first half of the fourth season of the historical drama ended in April this year on History Channel. Sutherland is also best known for her roles in Law & Order Special Victims Unit and Vicious Passion. Sutherland has joined the previously approved American Horror Story francis Conroy to spearhead the ten-episode project. Production of the first season of "Mist" will begin this summer, with a premiere scheduled for 2017. Christian Thorpe ("Rita") will write and executive produce the Dimension Television series.
