Ubisoft has announced the premiere of a new episode of the popular Far Cry series. As stated in the official press release, the game called "Far Cry Primal" will be presented to users on February 23, 2016 on the flagship consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The action will take place twelve thousand years ago, in the Stone Age, when mammoths, saber-toothed tigers and other now extinct animals roamed the earth. In the center of the plot will be Takkar - an experienced hunter who remained the only survivor of his clan. He has to fight for his life, because without the support of his fellow tribesmen, he himself turned into prey. The hero will meet many bright characters who can help in overcoming the difficulties and dangers of the still completely wild world.
