A week after the official announcement of the resumption of the popular science fiction series The X-Files, Fox has decided to revive another of its cult shows. According to EB Lies, citing sources among the channel's management, this is the medical drama House, which was broadcast by Fox from 2004 to 2012 and has eight seasons.

With regard to the number of episodes, Fox decided follow the same strategy as the X-Files, that is, the new project will be movieed as a mini-series with a maximum of eight hour episodes. It is planned to attract the creator of the original show, David Shore, as the main scriptwriter and showrunner of the project.

Details of the plot of the sequel are kept in strict confidence, however, House (Hugh Laurie) is reportedly in rehab, where he is undergoing drug and alcohol treatment. Grieving the death of his close friend James Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) and the marriage of Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein), House tried to commit suicide. As a result, he lost his healthy leg. Now, forgotten by everyone, House can pour out his soul only to his friend in the ward, until he falls into a coma for some unknown reason. House will have to seek the help of his former colleagues to make a correct diagnosis.

Since Fox refrains from commenting, the news should be treated with a grain of salt. We remind you that Hugh Laurie is currently movieing the mini-series "The Night Administrator" based on the novel of the same name by John le Carre.<

UPDATE: Naturally, all this is just an April Fool's joke. We hope this is how you perceived it.
