The first trailer for the horror movie "It", based on the work of Stephen King, set an absolute record for views in the first 24 hours since its premiere. According to Deadline, it has been viewed 197 million times on various platforms.

Thus, the previous record of 139 million views, set in December 2016 by the Fast and Furious 8 action-adventure video, was immediately improved by 60 million.

81 million views of the video "It" were recorded only on the official page of the movie on the social network Facebook. Within a few hours, the trailer also became the leader in the number of views on the YouTube video service.

Recall that the project is based on the book of the same name by King, published in 1986. In the center of its plot are seven teenagers who are terrorized by an unknown evil who take the guise of a sinister clown. Bill Skarsgard, Finn Wolfhard, Nicholas Hamilton, Jaden Lieberer, Stephen Williams, Javier Botet, Owen Teague, Megan Charpentier, Wyatt Oleff and other actors starred in the movie. The director is Andres Muschetti.
