Original Star Wars 7 title announced
The original title of the seventh episode of "Star Wars" was different from the one under which the picture was eventually released. Pablo Hidalgo, one of the leaders of the Lucasmovie Story Group, spoke about this, answering questions from fans of the movie. According to him, for some time the working title was considered "Star Wars: Episode 7 - Shadow of the Empire". As such, it was an almost exact repetition of the title of the novella published in 1997, which took place between the movies The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Pablo Hidalgo did not elaborate on what caused the change of the name to the one already familiar to all viewers. Recall that just a week after the start in the global box office, the movie "Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens" earned $ 900 million at the worldwide box office. At the same time, he set a whole series of absolute records, including in fees for the premiere weekend. The movie stars Daisy Ridley, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Harrison Ford, Domhnall Gleason, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, and other actors.
